This class (2 days) will teach you all the basics of making a toe-up sock that you will not want to take off your feet.  Hand knit socks are simply amazing!  And, you know the old saying, once you knit a pair of socks you can knit anything! 

You will be starting out doing magic loop until your toe is done.  You can then continue with magic loop or switch to dpn's or 9" circular to complete your sock.
